Get Involved.

In 1922 a group of Cold River Camp volunteers formed CTA to improve hiking in Evans Notch and make Cold River Camp a premier hiking destination. In the early years before the National Forest had a trail system, the "trailbuilders" set out to create new routes and build new trails so hikers could enjoy scenic and interesting areas. CTA volunteers continue that tradition by maintaining nearly 40 miles of trails on National Forest and private land in Evans Notch.

Join us for a Trail Work Weekend. Complete a White Mountain National Trail Report. Become a CTA member. So many ways to get involved!

CTA Work Weekends.

Comfortable accommodations available at the A.M.C. Cold River Camp and all meals provided. Families welcome with children over 12 years of age. Register for one or all of our upcoming weekends!!
